Development History
The predecessor of the company was Lai’an Chemical Fertilizer Plant, which was founded in 1974. At that time, the annual output was only 3,000t synthetic ammonia, only ammonium bicarbonate products were produced and there were 300 employees on the job.
In 1974
The company made an investment in 40,000t urea project.
In 1989
The urea “4-to-6” technological upgrading project was completed with the production capacity of synthetic ammonia reaching 40,000t/year and the production capacity of urea reaching 60,000t/year.
In 1996
The leading group of the former Lai’an Chemical Fertilizer Plant was adjusted, and Yang Yingchun was appointed at the critical and difficult moment to be the plant manager and the secretary of Party General Branch of the former Lai’an Chemical Fertilizer Plant, which was on the verge of collapse, to form a new leading group.
In 1997
The synthetic ammonia and urea systems were revamped with the production capacity of synthetic ammonia expanded to 80,000t/year and the production capacity of urea expanded to 100,000t/year.
In 1998
A new production line with an annual output of 100t spices was built, which broke the long-term pattern of single production of chemical fertilizers, and the company took a gratifying step towards the development of fine chemicals.
In 1999
The plant manager Yang Yingchun won the honorable title of “National Model Worker”.
In 2000
The formaldehyde production line was installed and debugged successfully.
In 2001
Lai’an Chemical Fertilizer Plant completed the enterprise restructuring successfully.
In 2002
The plant manager Yang Yingchun was elected as the deputy to the 10th National People’s Congress of the province.
In 2003
The cogeneration project of the first 35t/h boiler with 3000KW generator set was put into operation. In December, the thermal power project was listed by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of national 25 pilot projects for adjusting the raw material route and power structure of the nitrogenous fertilizer industry.
In 2004
The construction of 6MW cogeneration project was commenced.
In 2005
Anhui Jinhe Industrial Co., Ltd. was established by Wandong Jinrui Chemical Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Anhui Jinrui Investment Group Co., Ltd.), Lai’an Chang’an Concrete Admixture Co., Ltd. and Dingyuan Dajiang Medical Equipment Co., Ltd.
In 2006
The flavor spices in “Jingda” brand won the title of “Anhui Famous Brand Products”.
In 2007
Melamine and pentaerythritol projects were officially completed and put into operation.
In 2008
The company was named as the provincial “trustworthy unit” by Anhui Administration for Industry and Commerce, and affirmed as a “high-tech enterprise” by Anhui Science and Technology Department, Finance Department, State Taxation Bureau and Local Taxation Bureau.
In 2009
The project with an annual output of 300,000t sulfuric acid and 30,000t sulfur trioxide and 1.5t sulfur dioxide was completed and put into operation.
In 2010
On July 7, the company successfully logged in the SME board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange and issued 33.5 million A shares publicly in China for the first time with the stock code of 002597. The stock was referred to as “Jinhe Industrial”.
In 2011
The project with an annual output of 5,000t AK sugar was officially completed and put into operation.
In 2012
2012 Anhui Top 100 Private Enterprises in Revenues were released and Jinhe Industrial ranked the 42nd. The trademark of “Jingda” brand of the company was affirmed as the “well-known trademark” in China by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
In 2013
The “maltol and ethyl maltol production technology and technological innovation” of the company was awarded the Anhui Science and Technology Second Prize by Anhui Science and Technology Department.
In 2014
Yang Yingchun, chairman of the company, was awarded the title of “Outstanding Entrepreneur in Anhui Province” jointly by Anhui Enterprise Confederation and An Entrepreneur Association.
In 2015
China Top 100 Petroleum and Chemical Private Enterprises were released, Jinhe Industrial ranked the 55th and it ranked the 1st among the chemical private enterprises in Anhui Province;
In 2016
The project with an annual output of 1,500t sucralose was officially completed and put into operation.
In 2017
Jinhe Industrial was evaluated as one of 2017 “Top 50 Enterprises” in comprehensive strength in manufacturing industry by the People’s Government of Anhui Province.
In 2018
The change of the board of directors and the board of supervisors of the company was successfully completed. The new board of directors elected Mr. Yang Le as the chairman of the company and appointed the new term of senior executives.
