1. The steel cylinder or tank car for liquid ammonia shall comply with relevant regulations such as Supervision Regulation on Safety Technology for Gas Cylinder, Supervision Regulation on Safety Technology for Stationary Pressure Vessel, etc. issued by the former State Labor Bureau. The allowable weight filling coefficient is 0.53kg/L. The cylinder or tank car should go through purification treatment regularly, for example, water washing, drying, etc. 2. Oxygen or chlorine cylinder and all copper-bearing containers shall not be filled with liquid ammonia. 3. The container filled with liquid ammonia originally can be filled with the product, while the cylinder filled with other gas originally must be cleaned, analyzed and verified to be free of other residual gas and to comply with relevant regulations before use. 4. The outer wall of steel cylinder and tank car filled with liquid ammonia shall be painted with yellow paint, and the name of manufacturer, product name and gross weight shall be marked by black paint. In addition, it shall be marked according to “Toxic Gas” in GB190.

Product Application

Liquid ammonia is mainly used in the production of nitric acid, urea and other chemical fertilizers. It can also be used as the raw material of medicines and pesticides.
